Drake Maguire of Troop 115 has completed his Eagle Scout project at the BCA. Drake’s project was to create an effective drainage system for the parking lot. This, added to the work that members of the Blackridge Swim Club (BSC) started earlier this summer when they installed a drainage pipe, will help prevent the water from the parking lot from collecting at the bottom of the path that runs from the pool to the park.

Drake guided a project to widen the culvert running down the hillside from the parking lot and line it with stone. His project also created a stone-lined space across the path to channel the water across the path to the wooded area on the other side of the path.

The BCA and the BSC greatly appreciate the efforts of this Scout and all who helped him.
