Although Blackridge is not in Wilkins Township, most of you have probably seen the banner announcing the township’s Bicentennial Celebration. Part of that celebration is a parade this Saturday, September 18th, on Greensburg Pike – and the Blackridge Garden Club is part of that parade!

The parade starts at 10AM and travels from Braddock Avenue/Lewin Lane to the Forest Hills borough building. BGC has decorated a cute convertible and will be throwing seed packets and candy from the car if permitted.

So far it looks like nice weather, so for a change of pace come on over to Greensburg Pike and cheer the Blackridge Garden Club, the Churchill Garden Club, and others!
