Was it just a few weeks ago that we had an amazing Labor Day picnic at the pool? It seems like eons ago! It was a great way to wrap up Summer 2017 at the pool.
And it was a great summer! We had lots of fun events, great members, an awesome swim team, and wonderful memories to last us through the off season.
Another positive is that we ended the summer financially sound, thanks to some very generous folks. Yes, we made it to our $3000 summer fundraising goal!
In a summer when a number of other local swim clubs closed their doors we are very thankful for the BSC and look forward to great summers at the pool for years to come.

Multi-Family Treasure Chest Sale
Do you have hidden treasures in your house that you’d be willing to donate to the pool? We’ll take anything! You may think it’s worthless, but it might be priceless to someone else.
Anything you’re willing to part with can be dropped off at the BCA Clubhouse in the evening, 6-8pm on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (9/20-22).
The actual sale is:
– Saturday, September 23, 2017
– 7am – 2pm
– BCA Clubhouse
We will have coffee and donuts for the early birds and hot dogs for sale for the sleepy heads.
Please come out and help support the pool! Who knows, you might find a treasure to take home.

Blackridge Talent Show
We know that Blackridge has got talent. In fact, we know so many talented people that we’ve decided it’s time to share those talents with each other! So get ready for the first ever Blackridge Talent Show!
When: 7pm, October 14
Where: BCA Clubhouse
Why: For fun!
We’ve got room for 20 acts, each no longer than 5 minutes. Can you play the piano? Can you dance? Do you do magic tricks? Sing? Gymnastics? We’d like to see your act!
If you’d like to perform your prepared act at the talent show, email Maria no later than September 27. Let her know what your act is and we’ll put it in the program.
Bring a snack to share. Admission for folks not performing in the show $5/person or $15 max/family.
